There are songs that are good. There are songs that are fun and light hearted- and then there are songs like Adele’s “Someone Like You.” This song will get you where it hurts. But in a good way.
Enjoy this performance by Adele as she sings a song from her new album in her super stylish home.
We have a VERY special treat for you today. We recently talked with Abbie Mast, owner of the brand spankin’ new children’s clothing store in Fig Garden Village called Ga Ga Chic. Oh how I wish I could fit into these adorable clothes! Watch Cam’s interview with Abbie to learn more.
Cambria sent this video to me and I think it’s absolutely amazing. We are both totally inspired by it. Press play and be in love with life for 3 mintues.

Follow Your Forte isn’t just about spot lighting inspiring people, but a place to share inspiring things as well. You know, that picture that makes your heart flutter, or that song that gives you chills, or that blog that’s so hilarious you just have to share. I like things like that. Let’s start sharing some, shall we?
Mrs. Lilien is a blog slash website slash girl that I am completely obsessed with. I love staging and styling shoots. It’s my goal to do it professionally someday, but until then- I’ll just “ooooo” and “ahhhh” over Mrs. Lilien’s spectacular style.
Have you ever been to Cracked Pepper Bistro? It’s PHENOM. Well, Vatche is the owner and head chef at Cracked Pepper and guess what?! He opened ANOTHER restaurant. His new place, is a Mediterranean style restaurant called Yalla Yalla located over on Friant and Fort Washington. Cam and I took a little trip there last week and he fed us til our tummies were packed tight.
Vatche is the real deal. And I’ll say that until I’m blue in the face. I see this guy at Farmer’s Markets buying his produce for his restaurants. He’s friendly, he’s talented, and he’s serious about his craft. The kitchen is his studio and the ingredients are his paint. I really appreciate that about him. He is a true chef.
I could go on and on about how wonderful Vatche is or how delish his dishes are–or how you SERIOUSLY NEED to try his famous Bread Pudding, but I’ll just let you sit back and enjoy the video. You might need to grab a napkin to wipe the drool off your face.
Neighborhood Thrift is a great thrift store located in The Tower District. Bryan Feil is the Store Director and he so graciously allowed us to come and look around while he filled us in about the mission of the company. They are a true neighborhood store. Their goal is to positively impact the community while giving job opportunities to people around the area. It’s a branch of The Well Community Church and they have some really fun news to share so check out the video to learn more!
I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about Nicole Coelho and Royal Rabbit around town. I finally had the privilege of meeting her at an event over at Dom Blu in Fig Garden. I love this girl. She’s full of sass and spunk and busts her little behind to make her company and her brand the best it can be. We had a lot of fun the day she came over to interview. She’s so driven and inspiring. Watch the video to get a little more up close and personal with Nicole!
