Have you ever been to Cracked Pepper Bistro? It’s PHENOM. Well, Vatche is the owner and head chef at Cracked Pepper and guess what?! He opened ANOTHER restaurant. His new place, is a Mediterranean style restaurant called Yalla Yalla located over on Friant and Fort Washington. Cam and I took a little trip there last week and he fed us til our tummies were packed tight.
Vatche is the real deal. And I’ll say that until I’m blue in the face. I see this guy at Farmer’s Markets buying his produce for his restaurants. He’s friendly, he’s talented, and he’s serious about his craft. The kitchen is his studio and the ingredients are his paint. I really appreciate that about him. He is a true chef.
I could go on and on about how wonderful Vatche is or how delish his dishes are–or how you SERIOUSLY NEED to try his famous Bread Pudding, but I’ll just let you sit back and enjoy the video. You might need to grab a napkin to wipe the drool off your face.

I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about Nicole Coelho and Royal Rabbit around town. I finally had the privilege of meeting her at an event over at Dom Blu in Fig Garden. I love this girl. She’s full of sass and spunk and busts her little behind to make her company and her brand the best it can be. We had a lot of fun the day she came over to interview. She’s so driven and inspiring. Watch the video to get a little more up close and personal with Nicole!

Reza Assemi is the man behind a lot of the cool development happening downtown. I get SO excited going into work everyday because it seems like lofts and businesses are going up all over the place down by our studio. Check out our video interview with this cool cat and let us know what you think about the development happening downtown!

P.S.- Yes I stuttered when I said “development”
No, I’m not pregnant even though my bulging sweatshirt pockets would imply otherwise
And Yes, that constant squeaking is because of the battery-less smoke alarms that could not be turned off…
